The Six Skills for Apprentices workshop is a four-hour practical program designed for apprentices and trainees in the first one to three years of their trade. Built for the worksite, not the classroom, it gives apprentices six communication and learning skills they can apply from the very next shift. From active listening and asking the right questions, to receiving feedback, setting goals and taking ownership of their own learning, participants leave with a clear framework for getting more out of every day on the job and building the foundations of a long and successful trade career.

The Six Steps for Mentors workshop is a four hour practical program for supervisors, team leaders, foremen and anyone who trains people on site. It gives them a proven six-step framework for passing on their trade knowledge effectively covering how to identify and demonstrate a skill, provide the right level of practice, give timely feedback and track an apprentice’s progress. Whether stepping into a leadership role for the first time or looking to sharpen their approach, participants leave with tools they can use immediately to develop their apprentices with confidence.
